Rose of the week, LUNAR MIST

Our rose of the week is a climber introduced by Star Roses here in United States in 2007. Wonderful old fashioned bloom from the Romantica Series. Deep ivory with a yellow undertones, and a spicey fragrance. We are excited about this rose as it is very hardy, zone 2 thru 8, vigorous, with excellent disease resistance. Height of 8 to 10 feet, and repeat blooms throughout the season. It is all budded up and ready to bloom in the greenhouse, just waiting to be picked or shipped to your garden. $15.95 for a strong growing plant.

My determined little Lunar Mist was purchased last year, but did not get planted. The container was knocked over, broken into pieces, almost all of the soil gone, rarely watered because I intended to toss it, yet it survived the record breaking winter of 2008/09 sitting out in the open and is now (finally) planted and looking almost as though it just came from the greenhouse!
