At this year's Art In The Garden event we had a wonderful day. We had several vendor's in the garden with some very nice items, lots of great roses on sale and some tasty drinks and snacks for everyone. We hope you had a chance to enjoy the day with us, if not put next year's Art In The Garden on your calender, August 22, 2009 and plan to join us. If you are someone with a talent or craft to share and have some items you would like to sell contact the Rosarium to get on the roster for next year. Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success.

Paul's Himalayan Musk Rose

We recently visited the fabulous rose garden of Anne and Max Belovich in Stanwood, Wa.! This crabapple tree blooms twice; once with it's own blossoms in spring and again with Paul's Himalayan Musk Rose later in June! This is just one rose and it's perfect trellis, the tree! Ruth Mano, on the left and I are both about 5' tall so you can see how huge this rose is! This sight inspired me to put a Paul's into my Korean Ash tree in the front garden. In a just a few years, I hope it will look as fantastic as this in our display garden! We have lots of Paul's Himalayan left if you want to try this in your own garden!

Greenhouse Manager-Donna Schmauch

Our greenhouse manager Donna Schmauch on early Monday morning picking out roses for shipping. Our mail order customers have been ecstatic with the roses they have been receiving in the mail. If you have been hesitating this comment from a recent mail order customer might convince you. "

I arrived home yesterday to find the box from Northland, and I have to thank you so much for the wonderful service & prompt attention to my order! The plants are in excellent condition & beautiful; even blooming! One is for my daughter & of course one for me too!

I’m sure I’ll be back again, and I’ll certainly recommend you to my friends & family! M.H.

Meet the new "Staff" members!

Northland Rosarium proudly announces the addition of two new Staff Members. Meet George (on the right) and Gracie. This delightful pair will be part of the entertainment staff as well as Night Security for those 4-footed, uninvited guests! Please come and meet this lively pair who have us in stitches with their antics such as making themselves at home in the basket of gloves in our Sales Cottage! What a Pair!

Roses, Roses and more Roses!

These two roses, Golden Celebration and Hot Cocoa were blooming side by side in the greenhouse and color combination caught my eye. I think Julia Child and Hot Cocoa would be striking companions in the garden.
